Construction sand and transit creasing arrive together. Ongoing development means fine builder's sand tracks in for years, and it migrates straight to the base of the pile. Meanwhile rugs that arrived rolled in a moving truck carry set creases that never quite relax on their own, and a crease is a fold line where the foundation flexes every time someone crosses it. Left alone, that fold becomes the first place the rug splits.
