Rug Cleaning in Temple Terrace
Collection and delivery in Temple Terrace are included. We take the rug back to the workshop, wash it properly, and bring it home.
What Temple Terrace is built from
Temple Terrace splits half its housing between the seventies and eighties, with 34.1 percent in the eighties alone and a median build year of 1982. The Hillsborough River wraps the area and the golf course sits inside the bend, so lots run from the riverbank up to nearly 86 feet.
Faculty, long-term residents and a steady student-adjacent rental population. The rentals matter, because rugs in them turn over quickly and get cleaned rarely.
The Temple Terrace problem
Temple Terrace is a river neighborhood, and river flooding behaves nothing like the coastal kind. Base flood elevation sits around 35 feet and 16.8 percent of sampled locations are inside a mapped zone, but the parcels in it sit at a median of about 23 feet, so the risk tracks distance from the riverbank rather than distance from the coast. River water arrives loaded with silt and organic matter, and the silt is the part that stays, settling into the foundation of a rug and grinding there long after the visible mud has been brushed away. Away from the river the common problem is something else entirely, which is a rental rug that has absorbed five years of everything and never once been washed. We find both of those within a few streets of each other.
If that sounds like your rug, send the form and describe what you are seeing. We will tell you whether it needs the full treatment or not.
