Ybor City is two cities inside one dataset, where 52.7 percent of the housing predates 1950 and 24.5 percent of it was built in the 2000s, with very little in between. The median year lands at 1947. Only 13.3 percent of the area falls in a mapped flood zone and the median elevation is close to 30 feet, so neither of those is a flood problem. In the lofts the damage is nearly always sun and abrasion against bare concrete, in the casitas it is damp from below, and treating one like the other is how rugs get ruined.
